I like how open to new things you are Reggie. I want to be like you, so I opted for something different this week--the HTC Inspire running Google's Android mobile OS. At first, I was wowed by the speed of the 4G network and the phone's processor, but now I'm starting to waver along with the device's battery, every few hours. I want to break Apple's spell, but doing so is troublesome. The Apple fanboy thing is annoying, but there is a very solid reason for it. Exceptional design that lifts spirits.

Good post. That last quote from your respondent resonates with me because the time I've wasted on Foursquare checking in has only gotten me a few tangible appetizers at a few bars. Not many businesses have caught on to rewarding you for # of check-ins or mayor status. It seems mainly to be another way to broadcast the cool places you are going and/or provide some WOM promo to businesses you appreciate.

My reason(s) for checking in via FourSquare are split between "Letting people know where I am" in order to build my cyber-space presence, keeping track of where I have been, and having fun earning badges and Mayorships. I have my FourSquare account connected to my Twitter account which then passes my tweets to my blog and my Facebook and LinkedIn accounts. I have most of my Social Media accounts linked together to give me the broadest reach out into the cyber-world.

I live around the corner from you all in the ASA. Started in advertising and journalism, demoted to Hollywood several years ago :)
Love your work. May need video or something kind of collaboration if you need anything.
Nice office space!

Thanks Jason - those altercations or custom shaping of the font was a critical aspect to the team, too.

I like the process used for the new logo. It’s interesting to see how different people execute the same ideas. The collaborative process of designing the logo is certainly conveyed by the logo’s concept. The altercations to the typeface are also nice.
