Square Enix had finished work on the US version of Final Fantasy III—the third installment of this popular franchise—and they turned to tenfour to develop an online campaign to support the launch.
Lauded as “legendary” by the Japanese fan base, Final Fantasy III was the only Final Fantasy that had not been localized for the North American market. Featuring updated graphics and innovative gameplay only possible on Nintendo DS, the game promised an exciting adventure. Could we communicate the excitement?

Check these results: Unique visitors to Final Fantasy III content on IGN rose 332% during the course of the campaign, and pushed the title to #1 in page views among all DS titles. For GameSpot, unique visitors increased 340%. Click-through rates for our series of expanding video banners and simple animated banners were the highest for any Square Enix campaign that year.
