The retail power tool industry is highly competitive, with a roster of strong brands jockeying for position. To further market share, Makita worked with tenfour to bring important new products to the construction contractor market. In one engagement, we developed the strategic and tactical creative launch for a key product: new magnesium circular saws.
In a plan that targeted end users and the channel, the creative promised a Makita saw so good that users would want to trade in their old saws. Tactics included a print ad campaign, collateral, sales promotions, point-of-sale displays, and training and presentation materials.
